Good evening. Hope everyone is having a grand ol’ day.
I wanted to give two updates real quick, before the day gets much later on. First, you can read the prologue to my second book for free right now under the BOOK TWO WIP tab found at the top of this page. I’m starting a cozy fantasy book inspired by some of my personal adventures, and stories I’ve either crafted or experienced whilst playing Dungeons & Dragons. I think it’ll be a fun time for all, or at least, I hope it is. My goal with all of my writing is to make the barrier to entry as low as possible and not get too lost in the weeds on things like magic systems or obscure nonsense. I’ll leave that to other authors. My books should entertain and delight, not confuse and frustrate.
That all being said, from here on out, I’ll only be uploading snippets of each chapter for free. If you want the whole experience, you’ll need to become a Patreon member, which can also be found in the tabs above. Only a few dollars a month is needed for access to all of my work, and I hope to come up with some other unique things to have for members in the coming weeks. I really hope you take a look, as things like Patreon will allow me to continue following this dream of mine.
On a personal note, I wanted to acknowledge something pretty momentous. Today, November 2nd, marks the first time anyone besides myself, and a few literary agents, has had the chance to actually read something I’ve written. It feels amazing and terrifying, and I very much hope people enjoy it as much as I do. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog and my first ever public-facing work.
Also, I hung my Christmas lights today and they’re magical. No, it isn’t too early.
Have a great evening!
